Christine Denlinger, MA, LPC (Consejero Profesional Acreditado)
Christine Denlinger ha trabajado durante más de veinte años en el área de desarrollo humano. Ella es una consejera profesional acreditada y actualmente mantiene una práctica de consejería en el área de Denver. Antes de mudarse a Denver hace 10 años, Christine y su esposo Jeff vivieron en Venezuela durante 10 años, donde fueron misioneros plantadores de iglesias con WorldVenture. Al crecer en Costa Rica como hija de misioneros, y la combinación con su experiencia misionera en la edad adulta, Christine tiene un corazón para el ministerio y sigue participando en las misiones mediante la consejería, la consultoría y el cuidado pastoral de los misioneros y los pastores. Debido a su experiencia intercultural en América Latina, también domina el español.
En su práctica privada actual, Christine trabaja con una variedad de asuntos tales como depresión, ansiedad, traumas, abusos y dificultades en las relaciones matrimoniales. Su principal objetivo como psicoterapeuta ha sido ayudar a individuos y a parejas afectadas por los efectos de la adicción sexual y de la infidelidad. La mayor parte de su práctica de consejería proporciona terapia para las mujeres cuyos maridos están luchando con una adicción a la pornografía, relaciones múltiples, y otros tipos de comportamientos sexuales peligrosos. Christine recibió su Maestría en Consejería en el Seminario de Denver. Ella es una Consejera Certificada en el país y una Consejera Profesional Acreditada en el estado de Colorado. Christine ha estado casada durante 25 años. Ella y Jeff tienen un hijo casado y una hija en la universidad.
David L. Ragsdale, M.A., LPC
Vice President for Counseling and Team Training
David L. Ragsdale is the Vice President for Counseling and Team Training for QuietWaters Ministries. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado and for the last 30 years he has helped individuals, couples, and families strengthen their lives and relationships. Ragsdale received his MA in Counseling from Denver Seminary. His post-graduate work has included Marriage and Family Therapy certifications with the Menninger School of Psychiatry. He is a member in good standing with associations such as the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Board of Christian Counselors. Ragsdale has advanced training in treating anxiety, depression and trauma with treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). He has certifications in Sexual Addiction, Sex Therapy and Life Coaching. For the last 20 years he has provided ministry coaching to Christian leaders across the country promoting marriage and family wellness, leadership excellence and organizational effectiveness. His consulting services and training foster sustainable change, culture shifts and redemptive outcomes for the organizations his clients serve.
Johnson is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, National Association of Christian Social Workers and was past president of the Denver chapter of the National Federation of Clinical Social Workers. She is active in leadership roles in the churches she a member of.
Clinically Johnson is passionate about helping people who are struggling in their lives around emotional issues. She is especially interested in couples, women’s issues and leadership dynamics as they effect the emotions related to anxiety, depression, sexual acting out and other addictions. Johnson specializes in Trauma, sexual abuse, grief work, and family of origin dysfunction related to adult functioning, emotions and marriage. She does extensive work with infidelity as well. Johnson is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), conflict management and communication skills.
Johnson is a speaker at Women’s groups and Mops on various topics.
Hud McWilliams M.A., Ed.S., Ed.D.
Dr. Hud McWilliams received his M. A. and Ed. S degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and his Ed. D. in counseling from North Texas State University. McWilliams served for nine years as a professor of Psychology at Texas Wesleyan University and for six years was Academic Dean and professor at the Center for Advanced Biblical Studies in California and Dallas.
McWilliams is currently the Senior Resource Pastor for Christian Associates, a church planting organization focused on Europe. He is a pastor to the pastors of 60 church plants/missional initiatives, providing resources, training, seminary counseling and teaching resources. In 1999, he moved to his present position from Fellowship Bible Church in Richardson, Texas, where he was on the pastoral staff for five years and the lead pastor for four.
Prior to his time in Richardson, McWilliams was on the pastoral staff of Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas, Texas. Serving on the pastoral staff for 10 years, he was the founder and Director of the Counseling Ministry and a member of the Elder Board. He has been a licensed psychologist in Texas since 1975, and in Colorado since 2000. McWillimas has been in private practice for over 40 years. While in the Dallas area, he was a professional counseling resource for local evangelical pastors.
